The best thing to do if your game crashes is to try some troubleshooting steps first and if those don’t work you can contact us from inside the game so that we can help!
Here are some things to try:
✏️ Make sure your device is updated to the latest Operating System that is available.
✏️ Make sure your device has enough free storage space.
✏️ Close down other apps in the background.
✏️ Turn your device off and on again.
🤖 For the Android Users:
- Close all apps and force quit Journey Home. This will ensure that no other apps are slowing down your journey.
- Make sure your Android device is fully updated and ensure you're playing the latest version of the game, as well as Google Play Games and Google Play Services.
- Delete old or unused apps or files. If your device's storage is full, it can slow you down.
- Clear your game storage by going to 'Settings' → 'Apps' → 'Journey Home' → 'Storage and Cache' → 'Clear Storage'.
- Restart your device and re-open Journey Home.
🍏 For the iOS Users:
- Make sure your device and Journey Home game are fully updated.
- Delete old or unused apps or files to free up some space.
- Close all apps, restart your device, and re-open Journey Home.
- If the steps above don't work, try deleting and reinstalling the app (instructions below).
